We have the capability of repairing bent panel lamps.
Bent panel??
Lamps or shades that have curved glass. We make a pattern off a complete panel and slump or bend the new glass in a kiln to make the repair.
This lamp is 36" in diameter.
With many old repairs, in both lamps and windows, it's sometimes hard to match the glass. The color of the this glass is pretty good, the texture is a little off.
In this lamp the glass is bent and sandblasted.
Here I have the panels bend and ready for sandblasting. If you look closely the second piece down has been sandblasted.
Here is the finished panel and ready to be installed.
Replacement glass ..............Old glass
This new panel needs to be sandblasted. This will remove the gloss and make a matte finish.
